Visitors Are Welcome Here At Christus!
Visiting any church for the first time can be a little intimidating, so we’ve put together some information to help familiarize you with Christus. Hopefully this will answer some of the questions you may have, but if not, please do contact us.
Christus Church is a relatively new congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, having built our present facility in 1997. We are located on 32 acres of land at the intersection of Highway 15 and Julius Drive in Greenville, WI – just 7 miles west of Appleton, and 3 ½ miles east of Hortonville. Check out our map for directions.
Our congregation is made up of a little over 780 baptized members, many of them being young families. We are experiencing rapid growth as the surrounding community continues to expand and develop.
Once you arrive you can expect plenty of parking, including reserved visitors and handicapped spaces near the front. Our building is wheelchair-accessible and we have two wheelchairs available for your use if needed. Greeters and ushers will welcome you, give you a bulletin and gladly answer any questions you may have.
As visitors, know that we will not make you stand up, identify yourself, or embarrass you in any way!
As you walk towards the entrance of the sanctuary you’ll see a table with name tags and markers. We strive to be a warm, welcoming, and caring community of believers and so we ‘re all intentional about filling out and wearing name tags. We invite you to do the same. This way no one will feel different or singled out.
Also, there is a guest book on a wooden podium near the main entrance. Please sign our guest book and indicate if you’d like a contact from our pastor.
